Gestures of Kindness
As your homework task is quite lovely this week, we would like you to share one act of kindness you decided to do for a member of your family and why.
You may like to share more than one of your chosen gesture, the more, the merrier!
Spread the kindness around your family students 🙂
Term 4 Goals… Where are you at with yours?
At the start of this term you were asked to set to goals for yourself, a learning goal and a social goal. We are now at the half way point of our last term for 2015 and so we would like to have a review of how you are travelling with each goal.
What were your goals that you set?
Where are you at with your goals?
Have you achieved what you set out to? How or Why? Or Why Not?
Your response must be a MINIMUM of ONE PARAGRAPH for EACH goal – So TWO PARAGRAPHS in total, if not more.
Please be sure to double check all spelling and grammar as well as the appropriate language of your post.
Remember…
My Long Weekend
We hope you are enjoying a relaxing mid-term break! Please share your thoughts and experiences in an appropriate manner on this post. Be sure that you edit your text before submitting it so it can be approved for your classmates to read.
‘The Importance of Cancer Research’
After our lovely fundraising efforts for our ‘splash of pink day’ we want you to comment on the importance of supporting cancer research. You may need to do some research yourself to find out what types of support there are and how anyone can get involved in supporting cancer research. Your response should be a minimum of 2 paragraphs. Please remember students to double check your comment before you post it for any spelling errors and the correct use of capital letters and punctuation.
Think about how you could make a difference in supporting cancer research, just as we did as a school community.
A little help goes a long way.
Testing
Please select a test here and complete it to the best of your ability. Use your jotter for any working out. Be positive and remember to stretch your brain!
Brilliant Brainiacs Going Further
We have now reached the end of our ‘Brilliant Brainiacs’ Inquiry with two very successful final events on Wednesday 14th October. These were our oral presentations by each Room 12 and 14 student and our ‘Growth Mindset’ talk by guest speaker Miss Harrison. Please use this post to reflect on each event in a positive way. Think about the following questions as you form your careful responses.
- What did you most appreciate about the presentations of your classmates?
- Who inspires you from history and why?
- What will you remember to try to do when new learning is challenging?
- What new learning do you now have about the brain and learning?
